Customer Relations Officer - Permanent Full Time - Chatswood Private Hospital

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experiencedFull TimeCustomer Relations Officerto join our team. Chatswood Private Hospital (CPH) sets the new benchmark for surgeries related to Ophthalmic, ENT, Dental, Oral and Maxillofacial surgeries. Customer Relations Officer is a varied position but is primarily a public facing role which involves communicating with the hospital’s customers including our patients, their carers, visitors, doctors and other staff members.

This position requires availability for 8-hour shift from 7:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Mandatory Criteria:

• This role is the public face of the theatre floor and a caring, positive, attentive and friendly personality with a professional demeanor is essential
• Excellent customer service/ reception/ administration skills
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Display a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to maintain confidentiality and a problem solving mindset
• Competent prior experience in the reception / administration within the healthcare field
• A nursing background would be highly advantageous

Duties include:

• Ensuring the patient journey and customer experience is five star 
• Ensuring excellent patient satisfaction results are maintained
• Manning the reception desk on the theatre floor with exemplary customer service standards 
• Liaising with all hospital stakeholders to optimise the patient experience and theatre efficiency 
• Maintaining administrative and clinical records; software and databases
• Supporting the Hospital Director/DON and Theatre Manager in the areas of human resources management, quality and risk management, complaints resolution and general secretarial duties as required
