Customer Sales And Warehouse Supervisor

Dalchem are a leading supplier of moulding & casting materials.

We supply a diverse range of customers across Australia. This includes; engineering companies, fabricators, foundries, wholesale arts, movie production, special effects, right through to sculptors and creative individuals

• You are a practical person with a mature outlook, a sense of humour and plenty of common sense.
• Comfortable dealing with customers, and providing customer service.
• Ability to supervise staff.
• Flexible and able to work independently or supervising a small team - sometimes juggling multiple tasks and priorities.
• Ability to communicate professionally - written and verbal, in English.
• Able to demonstrate active listening and multi-tasking skills
• Computer literate. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
• Organised with the ability to prioritize work-tasks and able to meet deadlines and reporting requirements.
• Can-do attitude. Reliable and Honest. Punctual.
• Not afraid of getting your hands dirty - At times you'll be packing and handling silicones and resins.
• Be generally fit and healthy
• Forklift Licence preferred. Current drivers licence required.

      SALES 

• Assist customers with product selection and purchases in person or by phone and email. 
• Generate and process sales orders in our system. 
• Input and process email and online orders for despatch. 
• Assisting outside sales reps with product and lead support
• Supporting customers with their projects – Online, over the phone and in person
• Ability to learn and maintain product knowledge. 
• Numeracy and problem solving skills required.
• Inventory management
• Shipping support

     WAREHOUSE 

• Supervise staff as appropriate
• Downpacking our silicones and resins into retail pack sizes.
• Receiving and dispatching of products. 
• Pick and Pack orders and arrange couriers.
• Monthly inventory management
• Maintain a tidy and safe work environment. Forklift operation. Use of drum lifter
• Some manual lifting up to 25kg is required in this job.

• Full Time Monday - Friday.  38 hour working week.
