Located in our Head Office in North Ryde our Welcome Centre connects people to the services they need. We don't call it a call centre because that doesn't capture what we're trying to achieve.
You will be the first point of contact for employee enquiries through phone and email. You will respond to their needs for example cancelling shifts or booking leave and ensure the appropriate systems are updated.
You will be provided with ongoing professional training and development to respond appropriate to employee enquires and navigate our systems.
This position involves a rotating roster, between Monday to Sunday, between Monday to Friday 6am-8pm. We have Casual opportunities available to join the team at New Horizons
Internally this role is recognised as Welcome Centre Champion.

What you'll need to succeed
We are open to all kinds of experience – we’re hiring the person as much as the skillset. You may have experience in Human Resources, Call Centre, other Customer Service role or as a Support Worker. You have:
- Good problem-solving skills to work through the employee needs and escalate appropriately.
- Outstanding Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate with people from all walks of life.
- High level of attention to detail, with the ability to work with speed and accuracy.
- Experience and ability to manage extensive multiple moving and conflict deadlines.
