Managing an Elgas business encompassing all aspects of day-to-day depot operations, transport, Customer Service, sales including distributor channels, profit growth and cost management will find you driving growth in the business across a variety of customer and market segments by identifying opportunities and creating strategies to improve volume and margin in creative and impactful ways.
Additional responsibilities in this role also include:
- Managing an Elgas business encompassing all aspects of day-to-day depot operations, transport, Customer Service, sales including distributor channels, profit growth and cost management. You will be directly accountable for the business's P&L.
- Managing all aspects of safety within your business to ensure that all Elgas staff, contractors, drivers, customers and assets are compliant and operated in a safe manner.
- Driving growth in your business across a variety of customer and market segments by identifying opportunities and creating strategies to improve volume and margin in creative and impactful ways.
- Delivering market leading service for your customers by ensuring every customer touch point is a positive experience and Elgas deliver on our PSO in a safe and timely manner.
- Leading a diverse team of Elgas staff and contractors to deliver on all business objectives and to create a culture of safety, positivity, co-operation and high performance.
- Your behaviors demonstrate clear accountability for business performance, a strong desire for growth and you continually identify opportunities to innovate and deliver productivity improvements.
- Daily monitoring and management your business performance, monthly reporting to senior management and annual budgeting.
Skills and experience we are looking for:
- You are in possession of a Tertiary or Business qualifications (desirable)
- You have experience managing a business and managing your own P&L
- Your customer focused attitude and growth mindset
- You're a strong leader with previous people management that can drive and develop a high performing team
- Your strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office programs aid you in this role.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
