About the role
Exciting opportunity for an outstanding, passionate and visionary Customer Service & Marketing Coordinator to join our amazing Aquatics Services team.
In this exciting role, you will draw on your extensive experience, Customer Service and business development skills to contribute to the health and wellbeing of the Inner West community by leading and inspiring the consistent delivery of high-level customer experience in Council’s aquatics facilities. Equally critical is this role’s responsibility to organise and manage the communication and engagement activities within the Aquatics team, and drive business development including marketing and member sales initiatives and programs. Inherent to this role is a commitment to promote healthy and active lifestyles for all age groups.
A key focus of this position is to work with the aquatics management team to provide high quality customer experience through staff, services, program information and messaging in relating to Council’s aquatics services. The position will coordinate, develop and work closely with Aquatics Centre Managers, team leaders and staff in delivering an integrated management and customer-focused approach across the group. Collaboration and planning with internal stakeholders, like Council’s Communications and Engagement team for example, will be required to develop key information, promotions, programs, policies and processes to ensure high levels of customer experience are achieved.

Remuneration
$98,064.20 - $112,448.44 + 11% Superannuation
Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications
1. Appropriate tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, recreation or a related discipline and/ or equivalent industry experience
2. Extensive experience in the management of customer and membership services within the recreation sector
3. Extensive experience in coordinating communications, engagement, and stakeholder management to achieve business objectives
4. Experience in business planning and management, project management, contract management, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
