As part of this small customer service team you will be responsible for processing incoming customer orders quickly and efficiently.
This will require you to think quickly and confidently and manage enquiries from customers (internal and external).
The Position
We require a permanent full time B2B Customer Service Representative to provide high quality customer service and ensure that the department runs smoothly.
In addition to the main task of order processing duties will include but are not limited to:-
- Managing calls relating to customer purchase orders, deliveries, stock availability and lead times
- Communicating product knowledge effectively and confidently
- Communicating with both internal and external stakeholders (warehouse/distribution personnel, transport companies etc.)
- Dealing with queries relating to damaged or missing stock
- Follow up on orders - monitor and chase up, advise reps / customers
- Input of direct entry orders, production orders and branch transfers
- Filing of paperwork eg service dockets, sales orders, packing notes and production cards
- Monitor & action as necessary the Customer Service group email
This will require you to think quickly and confidently and manage enquiries from customers (internal and external).
The Person
- Experience with processing customer orders
- Positive and pro-active attitude with a strong work ethic
- Skilled in conflict resolution, accurate data entry, problem solving, and customer service
- Good follow up skills and ability to communicate with all departments
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- The ability to work within a team but also work without supervision
- The ability to build rapport with customers quickly and effectively
- Excellent time and priority management skills
- Work with other departments in an effective and professional manner
This role would suit someone who likes to be busy, enjoys varied tasks, and can work to deadlines. This job will require full time working in our head office in Silverwater no working from home option is available.
