About the Role
You are primarily responsible for the administrative support to the Directors of Haematology and Microbiology within St Vincent’s Pathology and the operations of their relevant teams. You will be accountable for providing clerical and administrative support to these senior staff and their departments to ensure the effective running and to ensure they achieve their strategic goals.Duties include:Manage proactively the Directors of Haematology and Microbiology diaries, communications (including with government agencies for legislative compliance, correspondence/results, appointments, plan/schedule internal/external meetings/functions/work travel arrangements as requiredPrepare reports/agendas and take/draft minutes for relevant meetings and committeesPerform general administrative/clerical tasksPlease see Position Description for further detailsClassifications for this position will range from classification range HS2 - HS21 ($66,768- $72,134 per annum).Your ContributionAt least 1 years’ experience as a Personal Assistant or similar role with demonstrated experience in the provision of a full range of high level administrative support to senior managementSome previous experience in a health care provision setting/handling confidential health care informationExcellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work with a range of key stakeholders to develop effective relationships and partnershipsDemonstrated organisational and time management skills with the capacity to determine priorities, meet deadlines and flexibly balance competing demandsExcellent computer skills with a range of software packages including Microsoft Office suiteCurrent National criminal history check, or willing to obtainWhat we OfferA focus on wellbeing initiatives, with regular events and programsConfidential, solutions-focused employee counsellingA healthy work/life balance encouraged.
