Our team in Melbourne currently has an opening for a Customer Service Officer
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for Customer Service daily activities and projects including, but not limited to, all aspects related to materials, customers, vendors
- Receive and process customer orders, complete contract reviews of orders confirming receipt and full details with customer, advise of any customer variations to original order including price or stock availability
- Ensure all relevant customs and duties recorded with the sale of product is maintained as applicable with specific customers
- Prepare delivery requests with correct customer order information and communicate with third party logistics providers to authorise delivery of goods
- Ensure delivery requests are processed promptly and accurately through confirmation of receipt, provision of Certificates of Analysis with delivery requests and obtaining signed proof of delivery forms from the store where required
- Daily processing and printing of customer invoices against documented delivery information provided by our third-party logistics provider/s
- Invoicing of local service costs to be reviewed for errors and approved by Manager
- Monitor and control Sales orders ensuring a continuous workflow of documentation and complete customer satisfaction
- Check warehouse reports, order confirmation and stock movement reports daily
- Ensure all invoicing is up to date and stock transfers finalised
- Allocate consignment stock usages
- Identify and assist in implementation of process improvement opportunities in conjunction with management
- Ensure all business activities are conducted according to the work instructions specified in the Integrated Management Systems
YOUR PROFILE
- 3-5 Years' experience in a Customer Service role within a Supply Chain environment or related field
- Experience in the chemical or other similar industry advantageous
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of customer purchase to pay process
- Working knowledge of SAP and reputable ERP systems essential
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft skills - particularly Excel
