A bit about the role
This role will see you support the Community First Team functions relating to front of house and contact centre operations.
What you will do
- Provide excellent customer support to the community and staff across all customer channels; phone, front counter, webchat, online enquiries
- Ensure service levels and standards are met, within Council’s policies with a focus on customer satisfaction and industry best practice
- Personally handle or redirect enquiries as appropriate, in an efficient, courteous and professional manner
- Provide cashiering services as required
- Utilise Councils reporting system to record the nature and type of customer enquiries to ensure a successful outcome for the customer
What you will bring
- Demonstrated experience working in a call centre of face to face Customer Service environment
- Knowledge of the business of local government and its relationship to community
- A sound level of computer literacy with an emphasis on database programs
- A great customer centric attitude to ensure customers are at the centre of what you do
- A continuous improvement mindset with a positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
