The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent, full time Customer Service Officer to join our Customer Experience team on a Monday - Friday basis. In this role, you will deliver positive outcomes to our customers while looking for ways to improve processes in a friendly and reliable manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for our customers, answering inbound phone calls and emails
- Build rapport and develop relationships with your team and customers.
- Manage order fulfilment per customer requirements and in line with set KPI and SLA targets,
- Liaise with the Supply Chain and Sales teams to provide timely updates regarding orders,
- Provide information about Gerflor products, services, prices, and trading terms to customers, consumers, and end users.
- Identify and correct errors such as incorrect pricing, stock deliveries and coordinates the collection, credit and/or reissue of correct stock,
- Recognise and escalate situations when required.
- Participate in Customer Service Team meetings to plan, review and train.
About you:
We’re looking for someone with excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, experience using CRMs, and a team player mentality. You will be able to quickly pick up existing process and procedures and be able to identify ways to streamline and improve these while contributing to the success of a small, motivated, and friendly Customer Service team.
Skills:
- 2+ years working in a Customer Service environment
- Demonstrated experience using ERP/CRM systems
- Proficient computer skills; including MS Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of manufacturing/building, sales and/or distribution industries (highly regarded, not essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan, priortise, organise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Analyse issues from different perspectives and draws solutions from available information
- Make decisions that reflect active listening, thorough evaluation of information, and consideration of consequences to propose effective solutions.
- Be a team player: hard-working, approachable, and ready to get the job done!
