We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our Narooma and surrounding branches in providing a high level of service to our customers in relation to their financial needs. This local job opportunity is an ideal way to get your foot into the door of a community focused bank, where you’re able to gain hands on experience and interact with members in branch, on the phone and via our online channels.

About the Role
- Having conversations and interactions with customers via all channels (face to face, phone and online) and helping them with their banking and insurance needs and enquiries
- Exploring new opportunities to find the right financial solutions that may improve their position
- Using various technologies, systems and digital platforms
- Cash handling, balancing and administrative duties
- Working with your Manager and team to collectively achieve branch goals and objectives
- Maintaining a high level of operational adherence in line with company and regulatory standards, policies and procedures
- Casual - hours will vary from week to week and will cover branches within the region.
About You
- Experience in sales and service, preferably in retail, banking or hospitality industries
- Sound numeracy skills, cash handling experience and an accurate eye for detail
- Honesty and integrity with the ability to diligently follow and adhere to policies and procedures in a regulated financial environment
- A genuine desire to help people, work directly with customers and work with and support a team to achieve common goals
- A flexible approach in the workplace, initiative, ability to prioritise work and problem solve
- An aptitude for technology and proficient in MS Office programs/apps
- A valid Driver’s License and reliable transport with the flexibility and availability to travel and work at branches within the region as required.
