About the Role:
Based at Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre (MSAC) the Customer Experience Team Leader has overall responsibility for leading and developing the Customer Experience team members to ensure the highest possible level of service is being delivered.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and lead a motivated Customer Experience team, setting and maintaining high standards
- Role-model and demonstrate Customer Service excellence
- Collaborate with diverse teams - Events, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and more
- Oversee events and functions staffing for seamless execution
- Strategise on customer-focused approaches for service excellence
- Champion safety protocols and maintain operational excellence
- Shine in leadership meetings and deliver comprehensive monthly reports
About you:
- Relevant experience leading customer-focused teams
- Flexible, open and demonstrated ability to work with a broad range of people, at multiple levels of the organisation and exceptional stakeholder management
- Developing standards and emphasising excellence
- Proven track record managing performance and professional development of staff
- Hold current Working with Children Check and First Aid/CPR certifications
- Detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and a stellar communicator
- Your organizational and teamwork skills? Off the charts
- Our facilities are open across 7 days, so it is essential that you are flexible regarding shifts and working a rotating roster including weekends and late nights
