Activus Transport provides an efficient, effective, easily accessible and affordable transport service that meets the needs of the frail, aged, people with a disability and transport disadvantaged residents of the Sutherland Shire.
Our premium personalised service in cars and small buses to destinations in the Shire, St George, the city and other surrounding suburbs enables those with a need to reduce isolation and live their lives with meaningful connection.
Today, Activus Transport has over 7000 customers in the Sutherland Shire. We have a large fleet of vehicles, a strong Management Committee and over 60 staff. We are well respected and regarded as a leader for community transport.
Qualifications & experience
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Fast and accurate data entry skills
- Strong focus on quality customer service
- Ability to organise, multitask, prioritise and work under pressure
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven experience in a similar role with a similar skill set
- Highly Desirable - NDIS experience
Tasks & responsibilities
- Set an example for the rest of the team through answer incoming telephone calls promptly, politely and clearly and handling customer inquiries, received via telephone, email, mail and/or website, in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide customers with product and service information and assess people who are seeking assistance for transportation options and services
- Enter customer data into CRM and Electronic Diary system ensuring high level of accuracy
- Identify and escalate priority issues and provide quality service to ensure timely and reliable service delivery
- Receive and process referrals, and ensure appropriate customer records are maintained
- Be prepared to be cross-trained and work in other areas of the organisation as required and requested by the Operations Manager
- Undertake all mandatory training and abide by Activus policies and procedures
- Maintain high level knowledge of systems/procedures and any relevant changes or improvements
