Full time office-based position 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday
About the role
This role is a dynamic position and would suit someone who has a can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. Reporting directly to the Credit Manager this role would suit someone with a minimum 1-year experience in a credit and collections capacity and looking for a change and a new challenge.
Customer retention is our primary focus, so we are seeking someone who can communicate with all different personality types and the goal is to manage a portfolio to achieve a smooth and efficient recovery that mutually benefits the customer and our company whilst ensuring compliance and the highest customer service ethics is provided with each interaction.
Your knowledge, skills and experience requirements include:
- Dealing with high levels of inbound/outbound calls
- Generating and investigating leads.
- A passion for results and being KPI driven
- The ability to show elevated thinking “to think outside the square”
- Knowledge of the NCCP, Debt Collection Guidelines and Privacy Act
- Professional, compassionate and fair.
- High attention to detail
- Persistence and resilience
- Positive attitude and flexibility
- Persuasive to negotiate the best outcomes
- Intermediate computer skills including Word, MS Excel and Outlook
- The ability to work effectively autonomously and in a fun and competitive team environment.
