Ghostfire Gamingis looking for someone who is dedicated to helping others, and problem solving for a community-facing role. This role will operate as the first line of interaction with the community and customers via helpdesk email tickets, kickstarter project messages/ updates/ comments, and on social media platforms. The individual will work inside the Operations Team at Ghostfire Gaming, and interact with marketing, media, production, and administration on a regular basis.
Role: Customer Support & Community Associate
Location: At the Ghostfire Gaming office in Chirnside Park is preferable
Hours: Part Time (0.6 FTE) or 22.5 hours per week, flexible hours
Salary: AU$50 – 60K pro rata, per annum
Responsibilities
- Develop and broadcast content tailored to the Ghostfire audience across various platforms, including email, Discord, YouTube, and the Ghostfire Gaming blog. Content types include news updates, special offers, and recent multimedia content.
- Utilize Zoho to efficiently manage and respond to Customer Support tickets via email.
- Provide prompt and effective resolution for a range of customer queries, including product information, troubleshooting assistance, and handling feedback.
- Craft, and post, compelling and accurate project updates on various Crowdfunding platforms. This involves continuous communication during live campaigns and subsequent months for sustained engagement.
- Actively engage with our community across multiple social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, and Discord), fostering a vibrant, interactive environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production, to address and resolve customer issues, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Skills & Experience:
- Prior experience inside online communities, especially in the gaming or related industries, is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of and a passion for tabletop gaming, specifically Dungeons and Dragons, is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially on platforms such as Zoho, Discord, Kickstarter, Reddit, Facebook, X (Twitter)
