What you’ll be doing
As the Customs Clerk, you will be assisting the Team meet the day-to-day operational requirements of our client base, in line with our service level agreements, internal SOPs and regulatory requirements. Our vision is to understand our customers like no other and challenge ourselves to improve every single day to make logistics simple.
You will be contributing to that vision by…
- Registering all clearance only jobs into the operations system
- Sending off pre-alerts where applicable
- Filing paperwork and emails in system against relevant job
- Following up missing documentation with consignees when asked by Broker
- Following up on telex releases where required
- Performing sea cargo lodgments where applicable
- Monitoring trans-shipment arrivals and update in system
- Monitoring of group email box and action as required
- Assisting with general administration duties and supporting the wider Team

- Possess a high level of customer service and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and data entry skills
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills
- Ability to self-manage and remain calm during periods of demanding workloads
