Cyber Security Architect

• Immediate start with contract through till end June '24
• Hybrid office/WFH arrangement

In this 6 month contract as a Cyber Security Architect, you will play a critical role in addressing current and future cyber threats, overseeing, and reviewing the overarching Security Architecture, and providing guidance on technology and process selection to enhance their security posture.
This role will see you:

• Develop and maintain the security framework and reference architecture leveraging industry best practices and Cloud Security Well-Architected Frameworks and other on-prem and cloud security standards , to effectively address current and future cyber threats in cloud environments and on-prem.
• Ensure the Security Architecture aligns with industry best practices and standards.
• Leverage industry best practices and Cloud Security Well Architected Frameworks to advise on secure cloud migration
• Provide oversight and review of the overarching Security Architecture for the organisation's initiatives.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into the development lifecycle.
• Offer expert guidance on technology and process selection to enhance the organization's security posture.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.

You will bring to the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Security Architect or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Strong understanding of technology and process selection related to cybersecurity.
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are a plus.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect– Professional
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
