Your new role
Reporting into the General Marketing Manager, this role will focus on growing the direct to customer part of the business through e-commerce.
The role will look at everything connected to direct customer sales through e-commerce, such as inventory, stock, pricing, consumer traffic activity and trends, engagement, analytics and conversion, optimisation strategy, developing and implementing campaigns, partnering with other brands.
- Develop, implement and execute integrated sales and marketing plans across D2C channels, designed to maximise performance based on the strategic plan, as well as sales and financial measures.
- Attract new customers; retain and increase the value of existing customers through innovative and coordinated online/offline marketing campaign activities across all direct sales and marketing channels.
- Measure and optimise marketing activity to increase return on investment.
- Monitor overall performance & KPIs and continually optimise & out-perform targets.
- Works closely with an experienced team of marketers and analysts across several performance marketing channels and agencies.
What you'll need to succeed
I am looking for someone with strong direct sales and marketing experience who is proactive, strategic and comfortable wearing many hats.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a D2C (Direct to Consumer) e-commerce environment, ideally within consumer goods/electronics.
- A compelling track record in the initiation and expansion of customer acquisition;
- Highly experienced with digital performance campaign management;
- Stakeholder management skills both internally and externally in omni-channel or digital only organization;
- Leadership skills and experience in leading a team of direct reports;
- Clear and effective communication skills, along with the ability to empathise and listen;
- Extensive experience with a broad range of digital platforms, tooling and analytics.
