Glenbrook is a family owned and operated Dairy Farm which has a passion to progressively Dairy Farm well into the future. Dairy farming over 4 generations Glenbrook has now grown to milking 370 cows fed on a partial mixed ration diet.
Our herd is passionately bred and looked after to ensure that our stud Illawarra cattle and Holsteins continue to be their best day after day.
We are dedicated to what we do on farm and ensuring that we are continually growing and moving forward to allow our farm to reach its full potential. On our farm we value team members with attributes of honesty, reliability, and autonomy.
The Role
The role of Dairy Farm hand is available for a passionate and ag focused person who is looking for a long-term position in our business. Growing a large majority of the feed and fodder for the dairy across 3,500 acres you will have access to a large variety of our daily farming practices.
This position includes but not limited to milking in our herringbone dairy twice a day, assisting in animal health and cohesively working with our herd health monitoring system. You will have access to well maintained and up to date machinery and equipment.
Situated directly on the picturesque Murray River and only 6km from the Murray Bridge CBD. Murray Bridge is in a prime location only 1 hour from either Adelaide, The Barossa or the Coorong.
We offer rotational rosters with working every second weekend and set days off during the week which provide a good work/ life balance. Via negotiation this position could be altered to suit someone looking for a permanent full time position

Selection criteria
- Positive and self-motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and use initiative
- Ability to work in a team environment and individually
- Demonstration of achievement in any area – Paid or volunteer
- Current Australian drivers’ licence
- Previous experience in livestock husbandry, general agriculture experience and computer knowledge seen as an advantage.
