Three Bridges Robotic Dairy farm is located just out of Delamere on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula of South Australia. Only 1.5hrs from the Adelaide CBD or 10 minutes to your favourite fishing spot, this will suit those possibly looking for a lifestyle change. There is a 3-bedroom house (with a large shed) available on the property as well as the local school bus stopping at the front gate.
Three Bridges is predominantly a dairy, but also runs beef cattle. The dairy is well maintained and contains state of the art robots to ensure cows are automatically milked. Being a long term, family owned business, continual improvements to innovation and technology makes this a great place to work. If you are self-motivated, trustworthy, enjoy working on the land and caring for animals and takes pride in what you do….we’d love to hear from you.
Your tasks
Working full time your duties would include
- Assisting with the management of robotic milking
- Basic computer operation
- Stock feeding
- Animal health management
- Calf feeding
- Stock movement
- ATV operation
- Tractor work
- General farm duties (including fencing)
Successful applicants will possess
- A strong work ethic with good time management skills
- Good communication skills, team spirit and a commitment to attendance and punctuality
- The ability to follow protocols and adhere to safety standards
- A current driver’s license
Your experience
- Prior experience working on a Dairy Farm will be highly regarded.
- However, you may have only worked with cattle and are looking for a change. We would like to discuss your ambitions.
