AddressA Data Analyst position within the financial services sector. The primary objective for this role is providing the business with data analytics and solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners.
This Data Analyst position reports directly to the Head of Data Governance. You will work within a matrix structure, delivering into projects that are managed across all platforms. You will communicate with internal and external stakeholders including business stakeholders in operations, product and coverage, Paris and London branches for global projects, standards, vendors and consultants.
Requirements:
- 3+ years analysis experience
- Experience in an Information Technology & Change capacity in the Financial Services Industry
- 3+ years of Alteryx Designer/Gallery or Power BI experience is essential
- Experience in custody or back-office administration for the funds management industry
- Familiarity with analytical capabilities such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx
- Thorough knowledge of Investment administration platforms such as HiPort
- Excellent working knowledge of relational databases, be able to confidently write SQL
- Experience in dealing with large data sets and knowledge of HiPortfolio and Data Warehouse's.
- Strong analytical ability to analyse, summarise and explain large data sets through verbal, written and visual forms.
- Identifying efficiency opportunities, writing business cases and creating POC's that will add business value through the implementation of Alteryx.
- Assist in developing the governance and framework to ensure operational readiness of new business technologies.
- Excellent analytical skills, able to manage multiple projects under strict timelines.
- Project management skills; experience with Agile, scheduling and resource management.
