About the Role
As we continue to grow we have recognised the need for an Data Analyst, this would suit someone who has graduated with a Degree in IT and has been working in the industry for 2+ years.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Provide 2nd/3rd level application support to our clients across Australia via a ticketing system (Salesforce) alongside other 2nd level application support team members.
- Gain a working knowledge of our software in order to help with configuration related issues, and to identify when something is an issue or standard system behaviour.
- SQL database navigation and data analysis to work through identifying issues, troubleshooting, diagnosis and carrying tickets/issues through to resolution
- Assistance with ETL Processes from Excel, XML, Text and other formats, for the onboarding/migration of new and existing clients
- Escalate tickets as required to senior team members and relevant teams
- Test and provide quality assurance on fixes and updates to systems before they go live
About You
You are a flexible, team player with excellent collaboration skills and a can-do attitude. To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience and skills including:
- Very strong general computer skills
- 2 years+ working with Microsoft web technologies
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Be a forward thinker
- High level communication and comprehension skills
- Experience working within a fast paced customer support environment
- Good understanding of user experience focused on best practices
- Understand data and attention to detail
- Ability to deliver quality outcomes within committed timeframes
Technical Requirements to succeed in this role
- Essential: Experience using web applications
- Essential: SQL Experience
- Essential: Strong Excel skills
- Desirable: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology
- Desirable: Experience in application support
- Desirable: Experience with MS SQL
- Desirable: Experience with systems hosted on Azure Cloud
- Desirable: Experience working with large data sets
- Desirable: Experience with data warehouses
- Desirable: Workers Comp knowledge
