Your new role:
You will be responsible for understanding the data HDA has collected to provide inputs into the Logistic Support Analysis Program (including CDRL artefacts), inputs to the Engineering Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS), spot patterns, trends, and issues that might not be obvious to others. These analyses will be used in the implementation and maintenance of the HDA Conditional Based Maintenance (CBM) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs.
You will work closely with the HDA Field Service Representatives, Engineering (especially the Reliability Engineers), ICT, ICT Security, and others to achieve a compliant capability to meet contractual requirements.
Your primary areas of responsibilities:
Using Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) data downloaded from individual vehicle platforms conduct analyses to:
- Identify the root causes of system, subsystems, and equipment failures
- Identify the impact of failure outcomes (Functionally Critical and Safety Critical)
- Identify if failures are evident to operators through current subsystem Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) fitted sensors or if additional sensory inputs are required; and
- Develop failure management strategies based on RCM outputs that achieve the desired levels of safety, reliability, and operational readiness in the most cost-effective manner.
- Support the development and maintenance of the CBM Candidate Item register detailing the objective evidence to support both selected and excluded Configuration Items.
- Use HUMS data downloaded from individual vehicle platforms and aggregated data sets to conduct analyses identifying trends in failures.
- Produce written reports based on analyses outcomes for internal and external stakeholders and present as required.
- Support development of prognostics framework to apply to the vehicle capability.
About you
As an ideal candidate you will have:
- Previous experience with Reliability- Centred Maintenance (RCM) and Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) Analysis
- Experience in establishing, maintaining and or managing a CBM/RCM Programs in an Australian Defence Industry environment will be highly regarded but not essential
- An understanding of Integrated Product Support and Logistic Support Analysis.
- Demonstrated conceptual, analytical, research and project management skills.
- Proven ability to effectively manage relationships with internal/external stakeholders in a positive manner
- The ability to communicate complex information effectively in report form.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Analysis or a related discipline would be an advantage.
