DFP Recruitment is urgently seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support one of our Federal Government clients in centralising data from multiple sources into a unified database.
The current project team is tasked with consolidating data from health, compensation, and workforce sources into an Enterprise Data Warehouse. This initiative aims to facilitate standard business reporting, advanced analytics, simulation modeling, and predictive analysis for these subject areas.
Responsibilities for this role include data analysis, interpretation, and visualisation to ensure comprehensive insights and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in relevant software and tools, and experience working within government or large-scale organizational settings.

Primary Skillsets:
Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that requirements are well understood and documented.
Profile data sources to determine the correct data source to meet data requirements.
Apply a range of data analysis techniques and methods to ensure the data supports the requirements and develop business rules and source to target mapping documentation.
Prototype interim data solutions to seek business rule validation and speed up data engineering automation activities and to perform testing.
Build and maintain data definition descriptors & database structures, such as tables, views, indexes, and constraints.
Quality assures the transformation and flow process and undertake data quality checks. This includes testing and documentation of testing outcomes and acceptance criteria.
Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate experience in multiple roles that include Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Data Modelling, Technical Writing, and Data Engineering
You must have active Baseline Security clearance to be considered for this position.
