ASAP start – initial 3-month assignment
Pay rate: $700 - $750 per day + super
Key Accountabilities:
- Identify business requirements and develop best practice reporting solutions.
- Provide analysis and insights to managers and stakeholders to help drive performance and data lead decisions.
- Collaborate with other Data & Reporting Analysts to identify and acquire data.
- Advise stakeholders on data collection and visualisation best practices.
- Use Power Query and Dataflows to extract, transform and load data from a wide range of data sources and systems.
- Develop and maintain effective data models with defined relationships and calculations using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX).
- Transform data into interactive, actionable insights through meaningful data visualisation.
- Design and build dashboards with a consistent theme and style.
- Ensure the consistency of metrics between dashboards and other corporate systems.
- Monitor data quality and take appropriate action for the remediation of data quality issues detected.
- Understand data security including row-level security (RLS) and data sensitivity.
- Manage the distribution of BI assets to key stakeholders.
- Support initiatives by providing ad hoc data and insights to support business cases and inform project decisions.
- Update dashboards and metrics in line with new business requirements, goals and improvements.
- Relevant tertiary-level qualifications (IT, Data and Analytics, Business)
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages and Business Intelligence tools, especially Power BI platform.
- Strong experience in BI Analytics and Data Modelling
- Detailed understanding of report generation from SAP.
- Advanced knowledge in using Excel – pivot tables, lookup functionality, data ranging.
- Ability to develop complex/standardised reports with a strong focus on data visualisation
- Desirable: Certifications in Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud and Advanced SQL
- Beneficial: Power Apps, Power Automate, SAP Business Objectives
