The Opportunity
At Greenstone, we are truly an Analytics driven business, where Data driven decisioning underpins the most critical business processes. Our in-house Data & Analytics function builds data driven models and conducts analysis to further Greenstone's commercial outcomes and optimise Greenstone's profitability.
The key role of our Data Analyst will be to analyse and interrogate Greenstone's data assets to drive performance and optimise profitability across marketing and operational activities through developing and implementing analytical insights and models.
Working in a supportive team of Data & Analytics professionals, you won't just report on performance, but rather be a key player in defining that performance, adding value at both an operational and strategic/commercial level.
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to contribute to a number of Data driven projects with the wider team in relation to our Analytics strategy, working with some of the most sophisticated Machine Learning models in Australia, speech analytics, artificial intelligence and more.
What are we looking for?
A mid-level Data Analyst with with skills aligned to:
- Experience (typically 2-4 years+) in a similar Insight data driven role, which contributes to positive business decisioning in line with Digital Marketing and/or Customer Acquisition strategy
- Experience in creating predictive models which contributed business marketing strategy (retention/acquistion)
- Good Working experience in SQL/R/Python
- Experience and exposure to machine learning algorithms
- Comprehensive understanding of MS Excel and other applications within the MS Office suite
- Strong conceptual, problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant Marketing, Commerce/Business, Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, Engineering or Statistics discipline
