In this role, you'll:
Working with the Director - Data Operations, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining data sources to support analysis, reporting and insights for major Infrastructure Projects.
You will model, build, and deploy data lakes and data warehouses in line with modern data architecture principles.
Working together with our Analytics and Systems teams, you will design, develop and operate data ingestion, transformation and presentation pipelines.
As an experienced Senior Data Engineer, you will understand how to use data across enterprise systems, onboard data into a centralised data platform and make insightful decisions for data models and visualisations.
You will work in the 680 George Street, Sydney CBD office approximately 3 days a month.
This is an initial fixed term contract until 23/01/2026.
Role description.
About you
With demonstrated experience in designing, building, deploying and operating data warehouses and data lakes, you will have exposure to working in a fast-paced Analytics and Technology environment including partnering with stakeholders to model use case scenarios and data landscapes to help maximise business value.
With hands-on data engineering experience and knowledge in Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, Databricks, and dbt., you will have advanced knowledge of Python, SQL and Data modelling experience.
You will be proactive and take the initiative to tackle problems and will thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to build rapport and positively influence your stakeholders will make you a standout for this role.
