The opportunity
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing independent data quality control checks on remediations, running data extracts, and providing details to Issue Resolution Team (IRT) officers to assist with their remediation activities.
You will work closely with the senior IRT officer and team to validate existing business processes with the aim of streamlining these. Additionally, you will assist with the escalation of ageing tech support tickets and collaborate with stakeholders to action these promptly.
Your role will also involve reviewing incident documentation, maintaining issue logs, conducting peer reviews, and preparing checklists and closure documents. You will be expected to report incidents or breaches via our incident record management system (Radar) and provide regular updates.
A key part of your role will be to support initiatives related to automation, waste reduction, and the digitalisation of communications.
Some additional key responsibilities include:
- Support and collaborate with the IRT team:
- First escalation point for data related queries
- Review and provide complex data extractions and adjustment calculations
- Provide impact analysis on system-related fixes and updates
- Support remediation activities and ensure appropriate controls are implemented as part of the incident closure.
- Assist the broader Issue Management and reporting team with other process support as needed.
About you
To be successful in this role you have strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work closely with people at varying levels, and via various communication channels.
You are highly motivated by working with your team to achieve success and share knowledge. You are passionate and delivery driven and will be able to demonstrate your adaptability to change. You have exceptional attention to detail as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
Obtained from previous experience, you possess strong process documentation management skills, a good knowledge of compliance standards and governance as well as exceptional excel and SQL skills.
In addition, you should ideally be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent organisational skills and an ability to work autonomously
- Ability to easily navigate through competing priorities and work to tight deadlines
- Acurity systems experience (ideal)
