SalaryRole: Data Analyst
Location: Perth, WA
We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Analyst to join one of WA's Largest Gas Trading teams. If you have a passion for data analysis/engineering, strong technical skills in Excel, SQL, and Power BI, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
This role is a contract position, initially 6 months with potential that leads to staff and is based close to Perth CBD.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team to support operations and integrate data for analysts
- Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data to provide insights and create visualizations
- Create graphs and charts using Power BI and Excel to present data findings effectively
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and assist in delivering data-driven solutions
- Maintain and optimize existing data infrastructure, ensuring data quality and reliability
Requirements:
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis
- Strong knowledge of Power BI and Excel for data visualization and reporting
- 2+ years experience working in Data Analyst or Data Engineer roles
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proven ability to deliver results within tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude towards learning and improving skills
- Strong communication skills
