The OpportunityThe Data Analyst for MH4L is responsible for developing and delivering key data analysis and reporting that will contribute to the operation and performance measures of the MH4L program.
- Develop, implement and maintain business intelligence solutions to deliver meaningful, accurate and timely data and performance measurements to support business decisions, business cases, and benefits realisation plans.
- Develop, maintain and implement predictive analytics, data integrations and data models into data visualisation products to measure efficiency, effectiveness, identify opportunities, mitigate risk and provide insights through information, dashboards and performance reports.
- Develop and maintain financial, Operational, Workforce & Quality & Safety reports.
- Participate in research, analysis and interpretation of data sourced from systems as required to find solutions to business issues applying statistical, mathematical, analytical, problem-solving and evaluation techniques.
- Undertake research to identify trends in service delivery and technology that could improve business efficiency and effectiveness.
- Contribute to stakeholder engagement and consultation to gather reporting requirements, provide advice and insight into raw data through the use of visualisation tools, presentation skills and workshop facilitation.
Mandatory
- Proven analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task within agreed priorities, timeframes and accountabilities. (SFIA:INAN Analytics Level 5)
- Working knowledge of, specialised information technology tools and software products employed in reporting, business intelligence or application/relational database environments (such as SQL, MS Excel, Power BI, Talend, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse and Azure Analytical Services) with an aptitude to embrace and employ emerging contemporary software technologies and tools. (SFIA:VISL Data Visualisation Level 5)
- Ability to integrate a variety of data sets within data modelling best practices to provide meaningful information and reports using current software and/or reporting toolsets. (SFIA:DTAN Data Modelling and Design Level 5)
- Experience in utilising specialised programming languages (e.g., Python, R) and data science techniques (SFIA:DATS Level 4)
- Experience in an agile project team environment
- Experience in the health sector is highly desirable.
- Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications for this position, possession of a tertiary qualification in information and communication technology, data analysis or related disciplines would be desirable.
