We are seeking a talented and experienced GIS, Asset Data, and Systems Team Leader to oversee our dedicated team of professionals. As the Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and implementation of GIS strategies, managing asset data effectively, and ensuring seamless integration with our systems.

Payrate: $61.43
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist technical advice and support to GIS professionals to ensure work is complete and timeframes are met.
- Accountable for the management and maintenance of the GIS Asset Data, and other asset infrastructure databases including digital plans of Council's Assets.
- Ensure Council's Asset Management Systems and databases are maintained, auditable and meet current standards.
- Ensure alignment between the GIS Systems and Council's Asset Management System (TechnologyOne).
- Ensure that all newly constructed and gifted assets are recorded in the GIS system and reconciled with the asset register.
- Provide asset management system input and assistance to Finance to assist with depreciation and other finance-led modelling requirements.
- Workplace policies, procedures and Systems for risk identification, risk assessment, risk control, Injury management and workplace health and safety meet or exceed expected standards.
- All policies and procedures adopted by the City of Playford including the Code of Conduct for Employees are complied with by self and team to expected standards.
Qualifications:
- Degree qualified in a field such as Engineering, Business, GIS or Finance with substantial relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Essential)
- Knowledge of GIS systems
- Substantial experience in an Asset Management systems role.
- Substantial experience data management in an asset related field.
- Substantial knowledge of databases and report development.
