Job description
John L Pierce Pty Ltd is a family owned transport business incorporated in 1949 employing 250+ people along the eastern seaboard. We are aligned with a folio of blue chip clients in the energy industries who share our uncompromising approach to HSE and compliance.
The role is based in Girraween NSW. You will report to the Financial Controller and be responsible for administration and data entry tasks related to the transport operation.
This is a permanent full-time role.
Applicants must have the following:
A stable work history
Experience is a similar role, preferably within transport environment
Effective PC skills, with ability to demonstrate proficiency in MS Office Suite of Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Accuracy and attention to detail a must
Being comfortable with preparing and processing large volumes of data daily
Willingness to work in a team environment
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills
The work involves:
Data entry for billing purposes
Contact with customers from time to time providing support to queries
Scanning and data preparation
Filing
General administrative tasks when required
