About the role:
Play a key role in keeping our inventory running smoothly! This position focuses on maintaining files, ensuring accurate data for optimal inventory control and product tracking.
What You'll Do:
- Maintain the stock file with meticulous accuracy, including adding new products, deleting discontinued items, and keeping existing product information current.
- Manage item setup and maintenance, including cost updates and other associated tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with other teams to gather data for new item loads and ensure these items are added to the system according to specified requirements and timelines.
- Implement promotions as instructed by Stores and Commercial teams for internal and external stores.
- Proactively liaise with suppliers to obtain the latest product information and update the system accordingly.
- Process barcode and price updates received from stores.
- Respond to inquiries from stores and internal teams regarding inventory data.
- Troubleshoot any issues related to the stock file and seek assistance when necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent excel skills
- Proficiency in working with databases and data entry software.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
- A problem-solving mindset and the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
