Database Administrator

Key Responsibilities:Oversee the maintenance and security measures of company databases. Monitor database performance, conduct regular performance tuning, and optimize queries for maximum efficiency. Install, configure, and upgrade database software and related tools.

Develop and implement database backup and recovery strategies to ensure data reliability and minimize downtime. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as database backups, index rebuilding, and statistics gathering. Manage databases in cloud environments, specifically AWS and Azure, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Execute disaster recovery operations and ensure continuous data availability. Required Qualifications:Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in database administration. Strong expertise in PostgreSQL database management.

Proven track record of managing databases in cloud environments, including AWS and Azure. Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution. Familiarity with performance optimization and troubleshooting in a banking or financial services context.
