About the role:
As a DC Department Team Manager, you will support the Bunnings Distribution Centre by overseeing our Replenishment team of up to 50 team members by coaching, developing and providing guidance in efficiency and H&S whilst being a motivational leader.
Reporting to the DC Operations Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day DC operations and leadership for your department. As a member of the site leadership team, you will act as a driver of Bunnings' strong safety and customer-centric culture. Specifically, as the Replenishment Team Manager you are responsible for ensuring all orders are picked and shipped in full and on time to ensure we deliver the best experience for our stores.
What's involved:
- Drive safety performance within the DC, including reporting and investigating injuries and incidents.
- Lead, coach, and develop the future leaders within your department to create a strong succession plan.
- Forecast and roster the team (including labour hire) efficiently and effectively to match the workload.
- Drive sites KPI's, including but not limited to SIFOT & pick rate metrics and ensure they are communicated and monitored.
- You will have a hands on and engaged approach on the warehouse floor to ensure you can provide in the moment feedback to your team.
- Support and collaborate with the Distribution Centres leadership team and build strong relationships with your team and stakeholders both internal and external.

- Monday to Friday 6:30am to 3:30pm - 1 afternoon required per week
- Unique Challenge - less customer facing, focus on Inventory and Delivery.

In addition to your technical skills, you will bring demonstrated people leadership skills. Your open commutation style and strong interpersonal skills will support you to building excellent relationships with both stakeholders and your team. You will also be passionate about building a culture-based work environment with a strong commitment to excellent customer service.
You'll need:
- Prior people leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience working in a Distribution / Warehouse centre is highly desirable.
- Understanding or experience working in either inbound, outbound, replenishment/picking or inventory is highly desired.
- A strong focus on driving safety culture.
- Previous experience in managing rosters, salaries & wages.
- Ability to coach and develop others, providing feedback and getting the best out of your team.
- An ability to achieve results and standards by working with your team.
