Delivery Lead

The Investment Delivery & Platforms function is seeking a Delivery Lead to play a pivotal role in delivering initiatives across private markets, Investment Stewardship, and ESG. This role involves leading a development team in delivering software, analytics, and application support for the Investment Technology portfolio. We are looking for a detail-oriented technical Delivery Lead with a proven track record in delivering complex financial analytics and fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, and develop delivery teams to successfully deliver complex initiatives and BAU changes.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive delivery plans aligned with business objectives, product roadmaps, and stakeholder expectations.
• Monitor delivery progress closely, identify and mitigate risks and issues promptly, and manage delivery resources effectively.
• Plan, design, and execute deployment and release processes, ensuring smooth delivery of solutions to production environments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, manage expectations effectively, and proactively address concerns.

Skills and Competencies:

• 12+ years' experience as a Delivery Lead managing initiatives end to end.
• Investment industry, Investment Data along with understanding of various assets

across both listed and unlisted sector. * Strong background in delivery-focused environments with extensive experience collaborating across Business and IT delivery teams.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including communication with "Head of" and Director level stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
• Experience managing software delivery of complex financial analytics and predictive models.
• Strong leadership and management skills, including team leadership, delegation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex situations, make sound decisions, and manage risks effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
• Agile certification (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe) highly desirable.
