The Delivery Manager is responsible for leading and mentoring a team of delivery leads, business analysts, and technical staff to ensure successful initiative delivery aligned with business and IT objectives. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and project management skills to drive continuous improvement and ensure efficient and effective delivery of Business Solutions.
What you’ll doTeam Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of delivery leads, business analysts, and technical staff.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities for team members.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define the Business Solutions strategy and roadmap.
- Transforms strategic goals into actionable objectives and key results/key performance indicators.
- Monitor and report on the progress of strategic initiatives and ensure they align with organizational objectives.
- Continuously evaluate and improve strategic planning processes.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of business solution delivery and business analysis.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to keep the team up-to-date with the latest methodologies and tools.
Project Management:
- Manage complex projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop project plans/deliveries including risks, timeline, and team members.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate status to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project/delivery risks and issues promptly.
You’re likely to have skills and experience in the following areas:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT project management, solution delivery, or related field.
- Proven experience managing complex projects and strategic planning initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams.
