About this role:
Working within Queensland Rail’s Major Projects Integration team, New Gold Coast Stations project team require a Delivery Manager. You will lead and manage the successful delivery of the project by providing Queensland Rail technical and operational knowledge. In an ever growing and exciting area of the business now is a great time to join Queensland Rail and really make your mark!
Overview of Responsibilities of the role:
- Provide leadership and direction for the team to ensure alignment in strategy, delivery, project management and allocations
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure multi-disciplinary interfaces are established and maintained
- Develop and implement strategic program plan and report on status to meet the requirements of key business, client and stakeholders
- Develop a resourcing strategy as well as overseeing the resource capability requirements
- Lead and provide clear direction and development of the project to ensure business rules and practices are followed
What you can bring to the role:
- You must have a high level of skill and experience in project management and looking to take steps into a bigger role
- Be a good leader and build key relationships throughout the project
- Extensive knowledge of rail transport operations including legislation and organisational governance
- High level of skill in making effective decisions for program delivery strategy, performance monitoring and governance
