About the Role
Due to sustainable growth, we are currently recruiting for a Delivery Manager to join our award-winning Sime Darby Industrial branch in Southbank, QLD on a permanent fulltime position.
Reporting to the Executive Manager - Technology Strategy & Architecture, the Delivery Manager 's primary responsibility will be to manage and deliver the Sime Darby Industrial Digital Technology funnel of work from ideation to implementation.
Key responsibilities:
This role will involve the following key duties and responsibilities:
- Review all work packages for delivery project scope and timeline prior to handover to SDI Digital Technology.
- Maintain SDI Digital Technology work funnel tracking system business engagement.
- Regularly report to stakeholders the state of SDI Digital Technology work funnel and delivery health.
- Lead the identification of potential operational and delivery risks and the development and implementation of mitigation strategies to ensure service levels are maintained.
- Contribute to the development of systems, processes, procedures and strategies.
- Ensure quality standards are built into the development phase with a quality first approach.
- Improve the change management process to manage and deliver agreed business outcomes.
- Manage project costing impacts and adjustments for technology SDI Digital Technology projects.
- Ensure all deliverables, checkpoints are planned and delivered to meet the Sime Darby Industrial standards and quality gates.
- Partnering with business stakeholders, architects to understand business requirements and low level technical design.

Essential requirements
- Minimum five years' experience working in a project/program delivery role within a diversified Company.
- Professional qualifications in Project, Program Management.
- Experience working in Technology project, program management and business analysis.
- Solid experience working with Agile methodologies.
- Proven experience working across multiple disciplines within a fast-paced environment achieving multiple deadlines through proactive problem solving and prioritization
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills - the ability to build relationships at various levels
