Due to sustainable growth, we are currently recruiting for an experienced IT Learning Specialist. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based out of our Southbank, QLD office.
Reporting to the Senior Agile Coach, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the SDI Industrial Digital Technology Program in learning and capability uplift process implementation and improvement.
The role of the IT Learning Specialist will be to use demonstrated change management to champion and establish ways of working by deploying training and learning and development process improvement initiatives across the Program.
Key responsibilities:This role will involve the following key duties and responsibilities:
- Creating and updating the training curriculum for the Program to ensure it aligns with skills gaps, employee development/succession plans and the latest digital technology trends, tools, and best practices.
- Lead the creation and implementation of practices and processes to ensure the Programs capability is sufficient to support the organisations delivery of strategic goals and objectives.
- Empower teams with meaningful career pathways and support them throughout the end-to-end employment lifecycle.
- Work with Program leaders to identify and address learning, training, and capability requirements to execute the delivery of SDI Digital Technology strategy and management of related expenditures.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to IT graduate(s). This includes working with Graduate Delivery leaders to manage requirements during rotation/tenure.
- Promote regular and ongoing opportunities for employees to give feedback through but not limited to surveys, facilitation of joint retrospectives with key stakeholders and creation of ongoing consultative forums.

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- Minimum 1 year experience working in an IT learning specialist role, Capability Specialist role or equivalent.
- Professional qualification in Project, Program Management.
- Experience working with Agile methodology is highly desirable.
- Experience with business process improvement methods.
- Experience in the development of operational policies and SOPs
- Strong communication and stakeholders engagement skills.
