We are looking for an enthusiastic and patient focused Dental Assistants interested in expanding their skills in dental implant surgery, cosmetic dentistry, crown/bridge treatments and growing their career! Due to our organisation’s growth, we can offer opportunities to progress into team lead and mentoring responsibilities for the right candidate into the future.
An immediate start is available and above award pay rates are on offer with access to our other in-house benefits. We can offer Full time shifts between Monday to Friday (NO LATE NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS).
The practice, located in Hawthorn (VIC), is part of a national group that will continue to expand across Australia. For team members that become expert in their roles, opportunities to move interstate and/or into new clinics as we expand may be available.
Dental crowns and cosmetic treatments are a strong focus at our clinics, and opportunities exist to both assist in these procedures and also to be involved in the intraoral scanning and manufacturing of the crowns within our onsite laboratory, using the latest CADCAM technology and being supported and trained in staining and glazing techniques by highly skilled dental technicians. If you already have onsite lab experience this will be a bonus!
Due to the unique way we run our clinics, we also perform a significant number of Dental Implants each week which gives you the unique opportunity to expand your surgical skills with confidence while you work alongside very competent and experienced implant dentists.
Beyond these specific and unique opportunities, the role involves assisting in only major dental procedures along with the highest standard of sterilisation responsibilities. This means a more stimulating workplace with longer appointment times allowing you to hone your skills and wow our patients.
We want to hear from you if you have:
- Dental Assisting experience (Cert III preferred)
- Transferable skills, the right attitude and work ethic
- Excellent computer skills, proficiency in using D4W software.
- Caring and friendly personality and a strong patient focus
- Ability to multitask and prioritise.
- Self-motivated, reliable and willing to work well as part of a team.
- Professional presentation and communication skills
- A thirst for learning and willingness to undertake further training (for example; digital scanning and teeth and dental photography)
- Willingness to grow and advance your career that is not possible within a normal dental practice!
