We are in search of a motivated Receptionist / Front Office coordinator with a genuine passion for dentistry and patient care to join our friendly dental team.

We are a family run modern boutique practice, offering a wide range of dental services including implant, cosmetic and general dentistry. To complement our dentistry, we also offer TMJ muscle relaxant services.
Our qualified and passionate team of three dentists alongside our dedicated caring support staff, strive to deliver exceptional dental care to every patient, every day. We are a small, friendly team offering a supportive environment to assist you in reaching your full potential.
Our days of operation span Monday to Friday with appointments available for our patients from 8.00am – 5.00pm
About the Role
This is a part-time position working 3 - 4 days a week with an immediate start available. Rostered hours are likely to suit a parent or applicant requiring shorter working days however, longer working hours may also be an option. We offer ongoing training and development with remuneration based on your experience and abilities.
As you will be our client’s first point of contact and their last, your role and the service you provide is enormously important!
Your main responsibilities will be:
* Welcoming our patients and ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for
* Assisting our patients with their appointments, treatment plans, queries and accounts
* Management of the appointment book including appointment reconfirmations
* Attending to incoming and outgoing communications including referrals and reports
* Submissions of DVA and GDHS payments
* Liaising with our dental laboratories / co-ordinating lab work requirements
* Ensuring the Front Office and waiting area is presentable and clean
* Attending to other clerical and patient related tasks as required
About You
The successful applicant will:
- Hold a formal qualification in dental assisting
- Have a minimum of a years’ experience in a dental Front Office role
- Have sound dental knowledge and understanding of dental procedures
- Have a warm and empathetic approach to patients and be able to build relationships
- Have exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Have the ability to prioritise tasks and show initiative
- Have high standards and attention to detail
- Have a passion and willingness to learn and grow
- Be a team player with an excellent work ethic
A knowledge of the principals of Prime Practice and EXACT dental software will be looked upon favourably however, we are willing to train the right candidate.
