Mangrove Resort Hotel is looking for a Front Office Manager to join their team based in Broome, WA.The Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the front desk and guest services operations, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for hotel guests. Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests, assisting with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Staff Management, Recruit, train, and supervise front desk staff.
- Schedule shifts and manage staffing levels to ensure excellent customer service.
- Reservations and
Room Assignments, Oversee room reservations, availability, and pricing strategies.
- Assign rooms and manage room inventory efficiently.
- Financial Management, Monitor and manage daily financial transactions, including billing, payment processing, and cash handling.
- Prepare and analyse daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to revenue, occupancy, and other key performance indicators.
- Quality Control and Maintenance, Ensure cleanliness and functionality of the front desk area.
- Implement security and safety protocols, including emergency procedures and incident reporting.
Essential skills and experience:
- Strong staff management and supervisory skills
- A great understanding of customer service in retail and hospitality
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Cash handling skills.
- Competency with stock management and stock take procedures.
Required:
- At least 2 years relevant working experience
- At least Diploma level, relevant field is preferred.
