Bunnings Frame and Truss are now looking for Transport Allocator to join the friendly Warnervale Frame & Truss team. About the role:
As a Transport Allocator with Frame & Truss you will assist with coordinating day to day logistics activities for our inbound and outbound transport programs within our Manufacturing site. The role will be based at our Warnervale Support Office F&T and reporting directly to the Production and Delivery Coordinator.
In your role you will be the link between our F&T team and our Transport Carriers liasising daily with both Internal and External stakeholders as you ensure the success of delivering our Frame and Truss products on-time whilst solving issues as they arise.
In addition to the above you can expect to:
- Route and allocate delivery runs for drivers
- Provide track & trace information to customers
- Provide customer service updates to customers, carriers and internal teams
- Problem solve and provide advice and support to delivery drivers when they arise
About you:
As a Transport Allocator for Frame and Truss you will be a highly driven individual with an ability to understand logistics/scheduling/dispatch/fleet allocation. Your pro-active, organized and have strong time-management skills whilst able to develop relationships through excellent customer communication both written and verbal. You may have come from a previous Transport and Logstics background focused environment either face to face or phone based and whilst Building Knowledge is not essential an interest in Construction, Engineering or DIY is advantageous.
