The Role
As the Depot Officer you will:
- Coordinate the Council depot including stock control and plant inventory
- Assist with clerical tasks
- Manage the process of change over and purchasing of new vehicles and plant
- Coordinate the scheduling of plant and equipment for servicing and/or repairs
- Maintain and coordinate the two-way radio system
Skills & Experience
The successful applicant will have the following:
- Previous practical experience in a similar role, including stock and inventory purchasing and control experience
- Proficiency in computerised systems and programs including Microsoft 365 suite
- Working knowledge and understanding of safety with regard to the public and working environment
- Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to use own initiative, and deliver on agreed outcomes
- Communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to work with and influence stakeholders
