- Fixed-Term Full-Time (24 months, leave relief).
- Classification: Pharmacist Grade 4 Year 1-2
- Remuneration: $65.97 - $68.15 per hour, excluding superannuation.
- Provision of cancer pharmacy services across all specialties, consistent with best practice professional standards.
- Ensure pharmacy service (clinical, operational, workforce and financial) performance goals and targets are achieved.
- Leadership and co-ordination of effective cancer and operational pharmacy services within the Calvary Mater Newcastle.
- Oversee pharmacy services across Haematology, Medical Oncology and Investigational Medicines in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Registered as a practicing pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Previous experience with managing personnel, human resources, staffing, training, WH&S, rostering and purchasing.
- Previous experience in supporting a Haematology/Medical Oncology service in the inpatient and/or outpatient setting.
- Post Graduate qualification in Diploma of Hospital Pharmacy, Diploma of Clinical Pharmacy or other relevant postgraduate qualifications and a minimum of 6 months experience in a relevant speciality; or
- No less than 3 years' experience in hospital pharmacy including no less than 12 months experience in a relevant specialty accepted by the employer. Read more in position description.
