About The Role
The School of Nursing and Midwifery is currently recruiting a Deputy Head of School - Research, to provide academic leadership and management of research and HDR matters within the school. In this role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing research, research development, research integration and engagement aligning with the Faculty's research strategy.
About You
As the Deputy Head of School, Research, you will have proven leadership experience and significant experience implementing a process of strategic planning and management with demonstrated commitment to areas taught and researched within the School. You will have strong record of delivering research outcomes, while leading and mentoring researchers and professional staff. To be successful you will also have:
- A PhD in nursing;
- Knowledge and experience in development, management and conduct of research and research partnerships.
- Strong track record developing external engagement relationships and obtaining external comparative research funding
- Track record of high quality publications
Remuneration/Salary
Remuneration & Benefits
Base Salary Range: 172,048 to $188,604 pa (Level D) $213,931 pa (Level E).
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.
The Deputy Head of School Research position is full-time and will be made on 3-year fixed term basis, with a substantive continuing Associate Professor/ Professor position.
