About the Role
The portfolio is focussed on the school's Inclusive Education strategic pillar. The role includes a strong focus on the school's First Nations students, implementation of Universal Design for Learning principles, building the effectiveness of the school's Tier 1 and Tier 2 literacy and numeracy supports and line management of the Inclusive Education, English and Mathematic departments. You will also line manage the Year 9 cohort.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
Deputise for the Principal when required.
Uphold the Deputy Principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
