Key ResponsibilitiesAs Deputy Registrar you will:- Provide strong effective leadership of the Southport Magistrates and District courts at Southport;- Assist to manage the daily operations (including the coordination of court proceedings), of the Magistrates court and District court registry as applicable;- Contribute to a culture of excellence in service delivery, innovation and continuous improvement;- Ensure compliance with all administrative systems including data integrity, and adhering to processes and procedures by establishing and communicating clear objectives and guidelines, monitoring performance indicators, taking corrective maction where required and reviewing procedures;- Build and maintain professional and collaborative relationships with judicial officers, courts' users, community groups and stakeholders to provide effective service delivery and support;- Undertake transparent financial, human resource, data and risk management practices;- Support the Registrar with workforce planning, performance management, staff development and mentoring frameworks within the registry delivering Queensland Court Service strategic and operational goals;- Perform statutory duties of Justice of the Peace, Clerk of the Court and Registrar as required;- Represent the department on committees and at meetings as required;- Any other reasonable tasks as delegated by the Registrar, Deputy Senior Registrar and Registrar as required.
