About the Position:
An exciting new opportunity exists for a Design and Drafting Manager with an expert knowledge of the residential housing industry.
Responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage the Drafting and Product Development team
- Maintain internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practice
- Review and approve the drafting and product development documentation
- Manage and monitor the budget, timeline and resources for the business unit
- Reporting to executive management team
- Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation including the use of modern technologies and industry trends
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following:
- 10 years residential building industry experience
- 5 years experience in a Drafting Management role in residential volume home construction
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with all stakeholders
- A focus on achieving targets and quality results
- Relevant tertiary or trade qualification
